The pre-game requirements were clear. On the penultimate matchday we started the game with a four point lead over the second place in the table. With a win, we were therefore able to make everything clear on our own. At the beginning of the game, we were probably somewhat inhibited by this burden and did not come into play at all. We were quickly 1-0 behind, had our own chances in the first half, but also luck that a counterattack on the aluminum ended our goals. So at halftime, a few things had to be discussed and changed, which had an effect. We started the second half with more struggle and will, so that we played a 3-1 lead from a 1-0 deficit. The connecting goal to 3-2 was still scored, but the result was brought home confidently and in a masterly manner. With the final whistle it was clear that we were champions early and everyone was happy. Spontaneously there was a round of drinks for everyone in the club house at FC Grone, before closing the next day at KFC. Now it continues on June 5th. in the semi-finals of the district cup against FC Gleichen.

The last game of the regular season will be on June 15th. a home game against JFV Eichsfeld 2. Everyone is looking forward to that, as there will be a great celebration for the whole team and the coaching team after the game. Everyone from the club, but also friends and families are cordially invited to accompany and support us in this last game in the district league. We are looking forward to many spectators.
