FC Grone - JSG Sparta-Weende Göttingen 2: 7 (2: 2) The underdog from Grone made it difficult for the favored guests in the district cup derby in front of a good 100 spectators for a long time. The green-whites showed little respect from the kick-off and started with lively offensive actions. Already in the first minute of play the strong guest goalkeeper had to do everything to prevent the Rehbachelf from leading in one on one. FC Grone again had the lead on foot two minutes later, but failed hastily in front of the goal. This was followed by further chances for the home team, in which the post saved the district league team from falling behind. A tour for the district league was in the air several times. Then out of nowhere the tour of the guests from a suspicious position and shortly afterwards the 0: 2 for the JSG. The game was at least expected from the result until then, Grone had a slight advantage from the game. And the fighting team of Link / Bette did not give up. She continued to seek her salvation on the offensive and came to the well-deserved compensation until the break. It was difficult to make out a class difference in the first half of the game. After that, the morale of the otherwise convincing top division was broken and the favorite prevailed in the end due to its efficiency. Nevertheless, FC Grone delivered an excellent game and shook the higher-class guest, but did not make it fall. In the end, the victory was deserved for the JSG, but was too high by at least 2 to 3 goals in an extremely fair game.
